Character Line-Up
The wonky silhouette and design language were inspired by Studio Ghibli. Western animation emphasizes bold shapes and clarity,
while Eastern animation leans toward realism and subtlety—not just in design, but also in acting, lighting, and overall decisions.
I explored a middle ground that blends these two approaches.

The design of Yomkis room combines Art Nouveau’s organic forms, Middle Eastern geometric patterns, selected Asian furniture, and symbolic elements from The Little Prince, such as the rose painting. I approached the space experimentally, blending influences from different time periods and regions to create a new kind of harmony—one that reflects the art direction’s goal of merging Western and Eastern aesthetics.

The central hall, with multiple doors and a staircase at its center, functions as a hub that connects to different rooms, including Yomkis' room. The details on the doors and pillars are inspired by the organic forms of Art Nouveau, while the overall layout takes cues from Middle Eastern palace interiors. Symbolic motifs from The Little Prince appear in the wallpaper and ceiling, adding narrative depth.
